Happy Anyway: A Flint Anthology (2016) - Essayist
The first time I was published, I was nineteen. The journalist that put together this collection (Scott Atkinson) had to twist my arm to submit because I did not feel ready to show my work. And by 'my work' I meant my journal entries which evolved into these pieces. I was the youngest writer to be featured and the only person to have two pieces in the anthology.
